JW1982. There is no prescribed oil change interval for the B6 manual transmission. The B6 transmission is supposed to be filled for life. It is however not a bad idea to change the transmission oil when the car is between 1 to 3 Years old (when the internal parts of the transmission has bedded in). Spend the money you save on getting the oil analysed every 2-3 changes. My old mk3 petrol had 230k on it when sold and is still going and that was 2 years ago. Always changed at 12.5k and was fine.
